Ted Patton was born in Sulphur Springs, a small Northeast Texas Town. Ted has been playing music all his life and was lucky enough to do it with some of his musical heroes in his All-Star band CSR, The Classic Southern Rockers which has featured founding members from classic bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, and Elvis’ TCB band to name a few.

Feeling blessed to have gotten to perform and record and tour with artists he grew up listening to on the radio. Ted has embarked on his solo career with his debut release of Country Lady the first single from his debut country album This Old Town. Ted has also just released his Gospel Rock debut album Heaven's Light on 3.28.2025 13 original songs Produced by Patton & Cornell on Rock Stock Records. "I've always loved gospel music! My mother was a preacher and minister of the gospel. A couple of records she gave me as a kid around 7 years old was two Mahalia Jackson albums! I played them all the time and still remember most of songs and lyrics. One of my all-time favorite Gospel singers!

Ted is reaching back to his country roots and writing his music with a little Rock n Roll and R&B flavor to it. Growing up listening to County artists like Merle Haggard Cash and Jennings, and Marty Robbins, he also changed the dial from time to time to Rock radio and played some Rock & Roll like Led Zeppelin and Montrose and the great Eric Clapton, then spin the radio dial to Motown and sing along with groups like the Temptations and Bobby Blue Bland. One of his greatest vocal heroes was Teddy Pendergrass.
"No one could sing like Pendergrass."

Ted's all-time favorite entertainer is Elvis Presley and favorite country artist would be Jason Aldean. 
Ted has recorded and released a few of Jason's Songs. As well as songs with founding members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Elvis' music with his famous TCB band. More favorites like Brooks & Dunn, Alabama! And the Great Montgomery Gentry. I will always remember the late Troy Gentry! RIP.

Ted’s first big break came early on during his time with the Lawson Patton band (Rock Duo) opening major tours out of Dallas Texas at the old Coke-Cola Star Plex and Bronco Bowl for over 40 national classic rock and country bands like Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, Ted Nugent, Bad Company, Doobie Brothers, Electric Light Orchestra and many others.

Ted’s current projects feature co-producers Thomas James Elevated Studios Edinburgh England and Yordi Lopez from the Netherlands Amsterdam Dopez Tracks.

Ted's Co-Writing partner and new co-producer an amazing songsmith Mr. Elwood E. Cornell. They have release 6 New Christian Rock single tracks in 2025 as of 2-22-2025 and now the release of his Gospel Rock debut album Heaven's Light on 3.28.2025 13 original songs Produced by Patton & Cornell on Rock Stock Records! available now everywhere!

Ted is an independent artist & writer, producer, and arranger. He releases all his music on his record label Rock Stock Records.
